Vineyard Community Church is a part of the Vineyard Church USA movement. Not all Vineyard churches are alike but they all do share essential elements of Christian doctrine and practice, which you can view in full detail here.
Our specific church mission is to know and fearlessly make known the love of Christ to the ends of the earth.
You can expect to enter a place where you are welcome—where you’re given permission to be whoever you are, and encouraged to cultivate a deep and lasting relationship with God. You’ll see mostly jeans, but some of us enjoy donning dresses and slacks. We’re younger, older, married, single, families. . . a little bit of everything.
We have a café where we serve coffee from Land of A Thousand Hills, a percentage of whose proceeds go to Rwanda to help the impoverished there.
Our worship is very honest with many of the songs written in-house (no need to be concerned, the words are on projector screens). Our time of Worship usually incorporates communion and is followed by a very practical, biblically sound, and anointed teaching. Then you’re given the opportunity to respond to what you’ve heard or anything else the Lord is doing in your heart. The whole service usually lasts about 75 minutes.
We have wonderful classes for the kids and a nursery for the even smaller ones. The teachers and helpers enjoy working with the children and encouraging them in their spiritual walks. Nursery through fifth grades meet during both Sunday services. The middle schoolers meet during the 11:30 service only.
We are located at 2692 A25 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA 3006. We meet corporately on Sundays at 10am and 11:30am. We also meet during the week in various Community Groups (our name for home, cell, or kinship groups). Click here for more details.
