Here at VCC, community is kind of a big deal (the word is even in our name). We offer lots of opportunities to gather together, get to know one another, and belong. Below are some of the ways you can join in.

Community Groups are the heart of VCC! From late August to the end of June, our groups meet on different days and times so there is sure to be one that fits your life. Community Groups dig deeper into Sunday’s sermon, time for ministry and fellowship. They offer a great setting for building community. Download the list of Community Groups over to the right or you can reference the Community Group wall in the Information Area for days, times, and other details.
The spiritual needs of our children are one of our highest priorities. Kid’s Community is a fun, safe environment for your kids. The goal of Kid’s Community is to partner with parents to help kids experience a loving God. We meet on Sundays during both the 10am and 11:30am services.
The Middle Schoolers meet every Sunday during the 11:30am service message (they are dismissed after worship). They also get together for fun, community building activities periodically. For questions, contact Marvae Eikanes at marvae@vcommunity.org.
High School age kids meet every other Wednesday night at the church from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. For info on specific dates an additional events contact Marvae@vcommunity.org.
These gender-specific groups offer a place for relationship building and fun! The groups go on an annual retreat and meet as Community Groups or at other planned events throughout the year. Check the calendar for any upcoming events and details.
We enjoy a good excuse to hang out. Whether it’s a picnic in the park, a game of softball, an Ancient Worship service, or a night for showcasing our artists and their art-forms, you’ll definitely want to be involved. So listen out for these events in the announcements, or take a look at our calendar for upcoming dates and times.
